Karnataka State Police organises a one-day conference on September 13; will cover a wide variety of crucial internal security challenges

NewsThe Karnataka State Police will host a one-day conference on September 13, with participation from all of the southern states' director generals of police and top officers from the Central Police Organisations. An official announcement said that this session is a significant milestone in the regional cooperation of the different police agencies in South India.
'South India DGP's Co-ordination Conference' will be opened by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in the presence of Home Minister G Parameshwara. The meeting will be attended by the director generals of the police and heads of the police forces from Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Puducherry, Andaman & Nicobar, and Lakshadweep islands.
Senior police personnel from the Central Police Organisations must participate in the discussions as well. The day-long seminar would cover a wide variety of crucial internal security challenges that put society's foundations in jeopardy.
