Karnataka governments Gruha Jyothi scheme; consumer registrations crosses 1 crore on July 6

NewsThe ambitious Gruha Jyothi plan of the Karnataka government attained a new milestone on July 6 when the total number of consumer registrations surpassed one crore. The Congress government's Gruha Jyothi initiative provides homes in Karnataka with 200 units of free power. Up till Thursday, July 6, a total of 1,00,20,163 customers have registered across Karnataka.
A total of 41,14,567 customers had enrolled for the plan inside the Bescom boundaries. CESC limits are 15,35,045, Gescom limits are 10,54,359, Hescom limits are 21,09,473, HRECS limits are 50,425, and Mescom limits are 11,56,294.
"More than 1 crore families of the State have successfully applied for our government's ambitious Gruha Jyoti Yojana," stated Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in a tweet. Our goal is to make the programme available to all eligible families with minimal prerequisites and a straightforward application process. Those who are eligible for the plan should apply immediately and encourage others to do the same. May the light of peace shine in the lives of those who are suffering as a result of price increases."
