On July 5, the Karnataka government offered a 50% refund on traffic fee payment, which will help motorists who have repeated traffic offences outstanding against them. People with pending traffic infringement charges prior to February 11 are eligible for the programme.
The Police Department has requested a 50% reduction on traffic charges from the Legal Services Authority. The government started the plan in February of this year and has paid over 41 lakh cases under it.
To pay pending penalties, people can go to the TMC, Bangalore One, or Bengaluru Traffic Police websites, or use Paytm.
