Indian men's 10m air rifle team wins gold with a world record score at the Asian Games

On the second day of shooting competition at the Asian Games, the Indian men's 10m air rifle team fired down gold with a world record score.

In the qualification round, the trio of Olympic gold medalist Divyansh Panwar, world champion Rudranksh Patil, and Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar amassed 1893.7, breaking the previous record of 1893.3 established by the Chinese at the World Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan, less than a month earlier.

To get the combined world record score, Rudrankksh shot 632.5, Tomar 631.6, and Panwar 629.6. With a combined score of 1890.1, South Korea earned the silver medal, and China took home the bronze.
