Host of e-initiatives of the Kerala High Court will be launched on Monday

On Monday, the Kerala High Court will introduce a number of electronic initiatives, including a module for managing family court cases and a case management system for the Vigilance department.

The High Court's IT department created the Vigilance case management system for the Vigilance courts, which would make it easier for the public to acquire information about the cases, orders, and rulings in these proceedings. Through the technology, members of the public, attorneys, and clerks can easily access the "A" diary and daily cause list of Vigilance courts located around the State.

On Monday at 3.30 p.m., Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will launch the facility in the High Court auditorium.

Judge S.V. Bhatti, Attorney General K. Gopalakrishna Kurup, High Court Registrar (Computerization cum Director IT) G. Gopakumar, and Chairman of the Kerala Bar Council K.N. Anilkumar will all be present.

At the event, Chief Justice S. Manikumar will dedicate the IT Training Hall, the intra-court appeals/revisions (High Court) module, the online RTI management module, the family court case management module, and the machine delivery of online certified copies.

According to High Court officials, the automated transmission of online certified copies is a first-of-its-kind service in the nation. Through the process, certified copies of court documents can be issued online. They continued by saying that the facility allowed for the real-time download and acquisition of the necessary documents.

The e-post integration procedure, which is being implemented in collaboration with the Department of Posts, will allow for the serving of summonses, notices, and other High Court documents.

Through the online RTI administration module, the physical process of managing RTI applications will be done online. The module also includes an integrated e-payment option.

Modern interactive screens are available in the fully networked IT Training Hall. The officials also claim that it has digital and video conferencing systems.
