Horticorp plans to open 250 Horti Stores across Kerala before Onam to promote good quality traditional food products

In order to promote high-quality traditional food goods, the Kerala State Horticultural goods Development Corporation (Horticorp) plans to build 250 "Horti Stores" around the State before Onam. The Horti Stores, which will be operated on a franchisee basis, will sell goods produced by Farmer Producer Companies in the State in addition to those produced by public sector organisations. Products will be acquired from manufacturers at a price above market value and distributed to the poor at prices that are affordable.
