Greater Chennai Police Commissioner Sandeep Rai Rathore inaugurated a three-day well-being programme for police officers

Greater Chennai Police Commissioner Sandeep Rai Rathore launched a three-day wellness programme for assistant commissioners (ACs)/additional deputy commissioners (ADCs) on Tuesday.  On 15 July, a one-day course on "well-being" for officers ranging in rank from Deputy Commissioners to Additional Commissioners of Police was held with the goal of improving police officer performance. In addition to the foregoing, Mr. Rathore launched a three-day curriculum for other gazetted officers.

At the session, police officers received proper mental health therapy to help them perform better at work and in their personal lives, as well as to preserve their mental health and well-being.

According to a press statement, appropriate counsel was given about the well-being of subordinate police officers and personnel, how to investigate and resolve concerns, and how to act towards officers and staff while on the job. The course was led by senior psychiatrists C. Rama Subramanian, T. Prabhakar, and K. Lakshmi in the Commissioner's office.
