Freedom Fest 2023, Thiruvananthapuram: Knowledge Innovation Technology to be held from August 12 to 15

NewsV. Sivankutty, Minister for General Education had launched promotional activities for the 'Freedom Fest 2023: Knowledge Innovation Technology' in Thiruvananthapuram, which will take place from August 12 to 15. The Minister has already gone through the event's preparations. T.M. Thomas Isaac, academic chairman; V.K. Prasanth, MLA, general convener; and conveners K. Anvar Sadath, T. Gopakumar, Veena Madhavan, Anoop Ambika, G. Jayaraj, and Sunil Thomas were present during the event.
The event, which will take place in around ten locations, will be attended by 18 government entities and 16 non-governmental groups. On August 12, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will kick off the Freedom Fest. The keynote talks will be delivered by Asia-Pacific Linux Foundation vice president Julian Gordon and IISc professor Narasimha Murty.
The primary event on the first day will be the 'Kerala Vision 2035' for 1,000 winners of a 'ideathon' held by the Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council (K-DISC) in professional institutions. Inclusion and innovation, sustainable and equitable development, Internet governance, the beauty of life, genomics, medical technology, cyber laws, media freedom, digital education, blockchain, and other topics will be discussed in the main venue.
