The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has expanded the option of Unified Payments Interface (UPI) to all ticket counters throughout the network to improve customer convenience. Using UPI, commuters can now reload smart cards and purchase metro QR tickets.
At the moment, the UPI option is accessible in over 125 stations, providing a faster, more convenient and secure means of payment to simplify ticketing services and contribute to the overall modernization of Delhi/NCR public transit. Within a week, the remaining ticket counters will be renovated.
