NewsThe "Delhi by Evening" trip was introduced by Delhi's tourist office to promote sightseeing and support the summer travel sector.
The activity was started as a result of the department's "Haunted Walks," which are also held in the nights, becoming a success.
Visitors may watch the retreat ritual that occurs shortly before dusk at the National War Memorial, where the Delhi by Evening expedition will start. One martyr's family is remembered each evening at the memorial. There will be a tour guide on hand to help the tourists.
After that, they will be brought to India Gate so they may stroll along the Kartavya Path.
Visits to the Safdarjung Tomb and Qutub Minar, which are stunningly lighted at night, will come after this.
At Dilli Haat INA, where visitors may also buy, there will be an optional meal to round off the excursion.
According to Delhi Tourism, the "Delhi by evening" tour will run on weekends and based on demand from the group. It'll start at 5 p.m. and last until 10 p.m.
There will be a designated pick-up and drop-off location for the participants' department tour bus, which will transport them. A batch of about 30 persons will be taken.
The tour's rate is Rs 500, but the full price, including GST, is Rs 525. Bookings may be made using the 'Dekho Meri Dilli' app or the Delhi Tourism website.
In the summer, more people are anticipated to take the night-time trip. According to authorities, the tour's evening start time will benefit the hotel sector by boosting the number of visitors who spend the night in the city.
