Construction of the third roll-on roll-off vessel for the Kochi Corporation will begin next month

Next month, work on the Kochi Corporation's third roll-on, roll-off (ro-ro) vessel will get underway. Cochin Smart Mission Limited would pay ₹15 crore, which is needed for the project (CSML).

In a statement released by Mayor M. Anilkumar, the Kochi Corporation, CSML, and Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), which is building the vessel, inked a tripartite agreement last week for its construction.After receiving a request from the Corporation, CSML, which had initially budgeted ₹ 10 crore for the project, chose to completely finance it.
