Cochin Shipyard Limited delivers the 11th electric hybrid 100-passenger ferry to Kochi Water Metro

Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), on Friday, handed over to Kochi Water Metro the 11th electric hybrid 100-passenger ferry, designated BY 135. The event was commemorated with a delivery protocol signing ceremony held at CSL in front of directors from both CSL and Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL). The protocol paper was signed by the chief general managers of CSL, Harikrishnan S., and KMRL, Shaji P. Janardhanan. 

The 100-passenger electric hybrid ferry is a cutting-edge vehicle created to offer effective, environmentally friendly, and practical transportation. The ferry is outfitted with electric hybrid technology to ensure low emissions and minimal environmental effect, with an emphasis on sustainability and environmental responsibility.
