Citizens can ask a question to Bengaluru Police Commissioner on Friday related to traffic chaos or cyber frauds

NewsYou may ask the Bengaluru Police Commissioner a question about the growing amount of cyber frauds or the ever-increasing traffic problems on Friday at 4 p.m. when B. Dayananda takes part in THTalksBengaluru. The details of participation are yet to be announced.
On May 31, Mr. Dayananda took over as the Police Commissioner of Bengaluru, succeeding C.H. Pratap Reddy. He had stated that his primary priority will be to concentrate on traffic management and cybercrime.
Mr. Dayananda, an officer from the 1994 batch with a bachelor's degree in public administration, hails from Ranebennur in the Haveri district. Prior to becoming the Additional Director General of Police (Intelligence), Karnataka, in August 2020, he held the positions of Commissioner of Transport and Road Safety, Joint Commissioner of Police, Crime and Traffic, and Commissioner of Transport and Road Safety in Bengaluru. He served as a civilian police officer with the United Nations Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) from 2003 to 2004 as one of his foreign postings.
He established the first police blog in 2005 and is credited with helping to establish a specialised forensic lab in Karnataka to look into cybercrime. He is known as a tech-savvy cop. In addition, Mr. Dayananda is well recognised for being an avid cyclist and fitness enthusiast.
