BMTC has launched Vayu Vajra bus services from various parts of Bengaluru to the newly-opened Terminal 2 at Kempegowda International Airport

Vayu Vajra bus services from various districts of Bengaluru to the newly opened Terminal 2 (T2) at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) have been begun by the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC). Passengers can board the bus at a pick-up location at Terminal 2. "The bus fare will be the same for both terminals," claimed a BMTC official. T-2, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated on November 11, 2022, started operational on January 15, 2023. T-2 handles Star Air, AirAsia India, and Vistara flights.

According to airport officials, all international flight operations at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) will be relocated to Terminal-2 (T2) on September 1. T2, also known as the 'Terminal in a Garden,' was created as an homage to Bengaluru, the Garden City.
