BMRCL will provide ₹50 return journey paper tickets during the cricket World Cup matches in Bengaluru

Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) will be selling paper tickets for ₹50 for roundtrip journeys from Cubbon Park or M.G. Road stations to all other metro stations during the cricket World Cup matches in Bengaluru.

The paper tickets will be distributed on match days, which are October 20, 26, November 4, 9, and 12—a total of five days—according to a press statement from BMRCL. On these dates, beginning at 7 a.m., tickets will be sold in every metro station.

According to a statement, the tickets may only be used for single trips between Cubbon Park and M.G. Road stations to any other metro station on the same day of issuance starting at 4 p.m.Additionally, the BMRCL has set up QR code tickets that can be purchased on the day of the game for a modest price and a 5% discount. These tickets are good for the whole day.
