Ayyan app assists pilgrims with prompt help, especially along the Sathram forest route to Sabarimala

The "Ayyan" app, developed by the Forest Department to help pilgrims reach Sabarimala, has been downloaded 1.71 lakh times in less than a month.

Officials state that the Periyar Tiger Reserve West Division constructed Ayyan to guarantee pilgrims prompt help, particularly along the Sathram forest path to Sabarimala. It offers details on every facet of the pilgrimage, such as services offered at Pampa and Sannidhanam, as well as along the roads of Sathram-Uppupara-Sannidhanam, Erumely-Azhutakadav-Pampa, Pampa-Neelimala-Sannidhanam, and Swami Ayyappan road.

Available in five languages (Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, and Hindi), the app may be downloaded from the Google Play Store and used in both offline and online modes.
