Amazon India has onboarded the first ever floating 'I Have Space' store on Dal Lake in Srinagar

Amazon India announced on Thursday the arrival of the world's first floating 'I Have Space' store on Dal Lake in Srinagar. According to a statement, Murtaza Khan Kashi, owner of houseboat Selec Town, would deliver items to clients at the doorway of their houseboats every day as part of the onboarding process.

Amazon Logistics, India Director Karuna Shankar Pande stated that initiative will give customers in Srinagar with faster and more dependable deliveries, possibilities for small companies, and expand Amazon's delivery network.

The 'I Have Space' campaign, which began in 2015, has 28,000 neighbourhood and kirana partners in around 420 towns and cities across India. It works with small companies and smaller merchants to deliver things within a 2 to 4 kilometre radius.
