42nd edition of the India International Trade Fair under the theme Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: United by Trade was inaugurated on Tuesday

NewsAt the newly opened Bharat Mandapam, the 42nd edition of the India International Trade Fair (IITF) started on Tuesday, providing over 3,500 exhibitors from both local and international markets with a plethora of business prospects. The Indian Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) is holding its annual exhibition this year with the theme "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: United by Trade." It highlighted the need of connectivity and collaboration in commerce for attaining sustainable prosperity and well-being, drawing inspiration from ancient Indian philosophy.
The expo is being attended by representatives of thirteen countries: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Oman, Egypt, Nepal, Thailand, Türkiye, Vietnam, Tunisia, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Iran, and the UAE.
The Delhi Pavilion at the expo will highlight the legacy of the Capital as well as its three main features: its potential for tourism, its status as a cultural corridor, and its industrial corridor.
Over 10 lakh people are anticipated each day for the event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. until November 27, according to the ITPO. Both online and offline ticket sales are offered at a few Metro stations.
