State-of-the-art development centre designed in alignment with Infosys future-ready hybrid workplace strategy created in Visakhapatnam

NewsIn accordance with Infosys' future-ready hybrid workplace strategy, a state-of-the-art development facility was established in Visakhapatnam, according to Chief Financial Officer Nilanjan Roy. The development hub in Visakhapatnam, which spans 83,750 square feet, will provide workers more freedom to operate remotely and in a hybrid environment.
Additionally, the workplace is designed to be efficient in terms of waste management, water and energy use, and compliance with green building regulations and Infosys' ESG goals. He said that Infosys would be able to recruit, retrain, and upskill local professionals to work on global prospects using next-generation technologies like Cloud, AI, and Digital thanks to the new hub.
The Vizag hub, which is in line with Infosys' future-ready hybrid workplace concept, would house about 1,000 workers. He expressed gratitude to Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for the Center's opening at this auspicious time.
The Chief Minister was joined by the State IT Minister, Gudivada Amarnath, and the Health and Visakhapatnam In-charge Minister, Vidadala Rajini. Vice Presidents of Infosys Niladri Prasad Mishra and Raghu Boddupally were in attendance.
