Funeral procession carrying the body of the former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will leave Puthuppally House on Wednesday morning

The funeral procession for former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will leave Puthuppally House in Jagathy towards Kottayam at 7 a.m. on Wednesday. It will travel via Kesavadasapuram, Venjaramoodu, Kilimanoor, Kottarakara, Adoor, Pandalam, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, and Changanassery before arriving at Kottayam. By nightfall, the body would be kept in Thirunakkara Maidanam for the people to pay their respects. It will be transported by night to the veteran leader's ancestral home in Puthuppally.

The body will be carried to the Puthupally church at 2 p.m. on Thursday. The service will begin at 3 p.m.
