Scientists at the ISRO are geared up for its next programmes such as Gaganyaan and Shukrayaan

Scientists at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), after the success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission, are preparing for the next projects such as Gaganyaan and Shukrayaan, according to G. Appanna, Group Director of ISRO at Satish Dhawan Space Centre.

Addressing the media alongside Raghu Group of Institutions chairman K. Raghu here on October 4 (Wednesday), he announced the commencement of the four-day World Space Week at Raghu Engineering College, Dakamarri. The four-day festival will begin on Thursday, October 5 (Thursday) and conclude on Sunday, October 8 (Sunday).

The programme will be inaugurated by IT Minister Gudivada Amarnath, and the valedictory address will be delivered by Y. Sreenivasa Rao, Director General, Naval System and Materials, DRDO. Around 20 ISRO scientists will attend the festivities. They will give lectures, hold symposiums, and organise art, poster, and quiz competitions for high school and college students.
