NewsAnurag Thakur, the union minister of information and broadcasting, released the teaser for the upcoming animation series "Bharat Hain Hum" on Wednesday. The show will highlight a number of the unsung heroes of India's liberation movement. The national broadcaster Doordarshan, Netflix, and Prime Video will all debut the series.
Speaking at the event, Thakhur stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi created the "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav" as a way to honour those who helped the nation's liberation movement. "Under his vision, we humbly strive to rekindle the nation's remembrance and appreciation for these unsung heroes, who are deserving of our undying respect and adoration. We are attempting to bring attention to India's culture, history, life, and heroic accomplishments through this animated series, something that has not been done before, according to Thakur.
Many schools, in Thakhur's opinion, educate about specific individuals and the roles they played in the struggle for independence, but many liberation warriors are still unknown to the public. "This lovely animated series will teach viewers about India." A lot of work has gone into ensuring that language is not a barrier. In a novel attempt, this has been produced in twelve Indian languages and seven other languages, he continued, "so that not only the nation but the entire world can know about our unsung heroes."
Season 1 of the show, which is scheduled to debut on October 15, will consist of 26 episodes.
