49th All India Police Science Congress was organized by the Uttarakhand Police on October 7 with the theme of Policing in Amrit Kaal

Newshe Uttarakhand Police hosted the 49th All India Police Science Congress (AIPSC) on October 7 at the Forest Research Institute in Dehradun, with the topic "Policing in Amrit Kaal." The annual event has been organised by the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D), and Union Home Minister Amit Shah was be the Chief Guest, with Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami serving as the Guest of Honour. Policing in the 5G Era, Narcotics: A Game-Changing Approach, Coordination between Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFS), National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), Internal Security & Social Media Challenges, and Community Policing are this year's AIPSC themes.
Uttarakhand Director General of Police (DGP) Ashok Kumar announced the event, saying that each subject would have a dedicated session, breakout session, and associated presentations, for a total of nine sessions. In each session, papers will be given, and moderators will share their opinions on all elements of the issue. The 48th AIPSC Action Taken Report (ATR) will also be discussed at the congress. The congress will finish with an open debate on the pertinent subjects, and resolutions for the 49th AIPSC, which will serve as guiding principles for policing, will be passed
The 49th AIPSC uses technology to administer itself, having developed an event invitation management system for the Uttarakhand Police. To maintain the security and confidentiality of event data, many security procedures have been deployed. During the conference, a technical expo highlighting cutting-edge technologies will also be held. This show will have 30 booths displaying various cutting-edge police equipment. The Uttarakhand Police, through the Cyber Crime Police Station and the SDRF, will also have booths. Students from Dehradun's various schools and institutions had been invited to the technical show.
