108 veena players performed in unison on Vijayadasami Day on Tuesday at Prasanna Venkatesa Perumal Temple, Madurai

On Tuesday, Vijayadasami Day, 108 veena musicians played in unison at Prasanna Venkatesa Perumal Temple on South Krishnan Koil Street filling the atmosphere with the grand Veena music.

Judge S. Srimathy of the Madras High Court gave the event's opening speech. The mridangam provided the accompaniment for the veena concert, which was performed by both young and old men and women. The show was seen by hundreds of visitors and fanatics.

According to S. Mallika, principal of Rani Lady Meyyammai Achi Tamil Isai College, the occasion is being planned for the 21st year. The event's subject this year was world peace. She stated that the primary goal was to highlight the veena's magnificence and expressed the hope that additional events of this like would be planned.
