Victoria Public Hall, also known as the Town Hall, is a historic structure in Chennai constructed to honour Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee. It stands as one of Chennai's best specimens of British architecture. It served as a theatre and a venue for public events in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It's currently home to the South Indian Athletic Association Club.
The hall, a prime example of Indo-Saracenic architecture, was constructed between 1888 and 1890 by Namperumal Chetty and was planned in the Romanesque style by Robert Fellowes Chisholm (1840–1915).
