Three-day floriculture and horticulture show will begin at Doddanagudde in Udupi from January 26

EventAt Doddanagudde in Udupi, a three-day floriculture and horticulture display featuring over thirty types of flowers will open this Friday. Udupi Deputy Commissioner K. Vidyakumari has stated that Udupi Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar will open it at 8.30 a.m.
She added, speaking to reporters in Udupi on Wednesday, that among native species, flowers like petunia, verbena, salvia, and vinca rosea will be on exhibit.
Over the course of the three days, over 5,000 flower seedlings will be on display and for sale.
The flower seedlings for the display were previously provided by private nurseries, and they will be offered for sale at a competitive price. Vegetable carvings and floral artwork will also be on show. Information on fishing, dairy farming, and organic farming will be given to visitors. There will also be machinery and farming equipment on show.
