The pan-Indian music festival - Bharat Sangeet Utsav 2023 will be held from November 4 to 10 at Narada Gana Sabha, Alwarpet

The pan-Indian music festival Bharat Sangeet Utsav 2023, presented by Sri Parthasarathy Swami Sabha and Carnatica, is scheduled to take place in Narada Gana Sabha, Alwarpet, from November 4 to 10. A Carnatic fantasy play with the legendary Kathadi Ramamurthy in the lead role was created by Carnatica Managing Trustee K.N. Shashikiran and was set to debut at 4.30 p.m. on the opening day. Gandharva lokathil Oru Isai Maanaadu is the title. Among the unusual pairings at this year's Utsav are a jugalbandhi performance by Rahul Vellal (Carnatic) and Ghulam Hasan Khan (Hindustani); Bharat Sundar (vocal), Mylai Karthikeyan (Nagaswaram), and veteran musician Thiruvarur Bhaktavatsalam (mridangam); Vignesh Ishwar (Carnatic) and Kaustuv Kanti Ganguli (Hindustani); Venu Gaanam by Ramakrishnan Murthy (vocal) and J.A.Jayant (flute); Nada Rasanubhavam by Nirmala Rajasekhar (Veena) and Praveen Godkhinde (flute) and Bhakti Rasananubhavam by Sooryagayathri and Spoorthi Rao.
