The 7th edition of Out and Loud - Pride in Queer Film Festival will be held in Pune

From May 25 to 28, Pune will host the 7th Out and Loud PIQFF (Pride in Queer Film Festival). The festival's organisers stated that among other things, its goals include showing innovative films, encouraging inclusion, and igniting important discussions regarding LGBTQ+ populations.

The All India Professionals Congress Maharashtra, IBM, Publicis Sapient, Barclays, Alliance Française, Stories Cafe, QueerBazaar, and Aarzoo, among others, are among the sponsors of the festival.

The event encourages vital conversations on the rights, difficulties, and visibility of LGBTQ+ people. In-depth discussions on these topics will be held at special events and lectures to promote dialogue and broaden understanding of LGBT perspectives.

Awards for Warrior of the Year, Ally of the Year, Parent of the Year, Workplace Advocate of the Year, Journalist of the Year, and Organisation of the Year will be presented during the festival's closing night gala.
