Adventurers from all over the world are drawn to it by the picturesque charm of Tehri adorned with lush forests and meadows. The purpose of the Tehri International Acro and SIV Competition is to display the breathtaking vistas of the famous Tehri Dam, which is about 42 square kilometers in size and one of India's largest artificial lakes. Presented by Uttarakhand Tourism in collaboration with Paragliding Mantra, the Tehri Acro Festival 2024 honors exhilarating paragliding acrobatics. Top acro pilots from all over the world compete in it, showcasing their fearless skills in front of judges with wingovers, spirals, and helico tricks. By enabling attendees to interact with guest pilots from around the world, exchanging stories and learning about the gear used in this thrilling sport, this festival also promotes a sense of community among paragliding aficionados.
