From April 21 through April 23, Rohru fair is held in Rohru, a town located around 100 kilometres from Shimla, next to the Pabbar River. The residents of nearby towns who follow the Devta celebrate this fair in honour of Devta (God) Shikru ji Maharaj. The Shobha Yatra of Shikru Devta from a neighbouring village, Gangtoli, to Devta's Temple kicks off the fair. The march includes hundreds of followers. It is a very old fair that is held to honour the deity's majesty. Along with the performances and cultural events, this fair also has a thriving commercial component.

Various cultural and sports events are organized at the venue during this time. Day and night cultural events are organized at the Ramleela ground. Students from different schools showcase their talents. Artists from different states entertain the audience in the evening. Sports such as Volleyball, table tennis, boxing and badminton are the other highlights of the fair. One can witness exhibitions organized by different departments in the Ramleela ground. These exhibitions are organized to spread awareness among the citizens.
