Rafi Night, organised by the Mehboob Memorial Orchestra in honour of the well-known vocalist H. Mehboob of Kochi, will take place on December 8 at Kerala Fine Arts Society Hall at 6 p.m.
Well-known vocalists including Mohammed Aslam, Afsal, Chithra Arun, Prasan Rao, and Ramsheed will perform popular and evergreen Rafi saab songs.
Since its founding 42 years ago, the Mehboob Memorial Orchestra has hosted Rafi evenings annually. Every Wednesday from February 2014 to March 2020, the orchestra performed for patients and onlookers at the General Hospital in Ernakulam as part of the Kochi Biennale Foundation's Art and Medicine project.
Free entry is available for the musical event on December 8.
