The Pulbangash metro station is located on the Red Line of the Delhi Metro. Overlooking a branch of the Ali Mardan Canal, Pul Bangash, also known as the Bangash Bridge, was constructed in the eighteenth century. A 17th-century canal that drew water from the Yamuna River was built under the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan's reign. In honour of architect-builder Ali Mardan Khan, it was given that name.
