Prakash Ferrous Industries Private Limited (PFI) was incorporated on December 26, 2007, and promoted by the Chennai-based Agarwal family and the Agra-based Garg family. The company is engaged in the manufacturing of TMT bars and billets with an installed capacity of 3 lakh MTPA and 2.4 lakh MTPA, respectively, with a melting capacity of 2.4 lakh MT. The manufacturing facility is located at Sri Kalahasti, Andhra Pradesh. It manufactures thermo-mechanically treated (TMT) bars with tempcore technology.

The products are sold in almost more than 1000 outlets in south India. The company sells its product under the brand name “Tirumala”. The company has other group companies, namely, Meenakshi Steels, Meenakshi Udyog India Private Limited, and Prakash Diesels Private Limited, among others which are engaged in the trading of steel products and various other businesses.
