Open-day event in IISc Bengaluru to showcase its activities to the student community and public on February 24

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) is hosting an open day on February 24 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to highlight its activities to the student body and the public. As in past years, the Institute will be open to visitors, science and technology enthusiasts, and members of the general public who wish to visit and tour the campus in order to learn more about its fascinating scientific and technology programmes and activities.

Popular lectures, scientific competitions, poster presentations, quiz competitions, and displays from different departments and centres are all planned for the institute's open day.

With several scientific and technology demonstrations on exhibit, a children's zone will provide a unique draw for all the younger kids. Admission for the day is free.

The institute further said that requests from parties outside of the IISc to exhibit their work would not be accepted, and that the purpose of the open day is for the IISc departments to highlight their research endeavours.
