Netaji Subhas University of Technology (West Campus) / Ch. Brahm Prakash Government Engineering College

As part of its objective to develop and build centres of excellence in the form of institutes, the Department of Training and Technical Education, Government of Delhi, has added Ch.B.P. Government Engineering College in Jaffarpur, Delhi, effective from the 2007–08 academic year. The B.Tech. programmes in Civil Engineering and Information Technology Engineering began in the 2007–08 academic year at this college, while the B.Tech. course in Environmental Engineering followed in the 2008–09 academic year. 

The Delhi government wants to establish this institution as a hub for environmental and civil engineering research, among other things.
