Nehru Zoological Park

After the former zoo cages were moved from the Public Gardens in Hyderabad, the Nehru Zoological Park was opened on October 6, 1963. 380 acres make up the current Nehru Zoological Park. The 24 arches of the Mir-Alam Tank bund, an indigenous arch bund dam created 200 years ago, are directly next to the zoo.
