Mitra Jyothi is a registered trust based in Bangalore, Karnataka, that has been dedicated to serving people with disabilities, with a particular focus on the visually impaired, since its establishment in 1990. Founded in March 1990 by Ms. Madhu Singhal, Mitra Jyothi operates with the mission of empowering visually impaired individuals to lead independent and dignified lives. The organization pursues this mission through various means, including Education, Training, Counselling, and the provision of Communication & Technology resources. The ultimate goal of Mitra Jyothi is to facilitate the integration of visually impaired individuals into mainstream families and society as a whole.
