Maratha Mandir Theatre

Maratha Mandir is a movie theater situated in Mumbai, India's Maratha Mandir Marg. There are 1000 seats, and was opened on October 16, 1958. It was well-known for its extravagant movie premieres in the 1960s and 1970s, but the advent of multiplexes caused "class" audiences to abandon the establishment, with the "masses" of the working class instead going to the theater.After showing Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge for 1009 weeks from its 1995 premiere, on February 19, 2015, it is officially recognized for setting a record. By September 2019, the movie had been in theaters for a total of 1230 weeks straight. This theater is a well-known landmark in Mumbai.
