Mangaluru Sangeethotsava organised by Sangeetha Parishath of Mangaluru, featuring eight carnatic music concerts to begin on November 22

EventStarting on Wednesday, Sangeetha Parishath's five-day Mangaluru Sangeethotsava will take place at Ramakrishna Mutt in the city. There will be eight concerts featuring carnatic music during the event, which runs until November 26. One of the famous artists is A. Kanyakumari from Chennai, who will play a violin performance on November 26 at 5 p.m. following the graduation ceremony at 4 p.m.
Geetha Ramanand of Bengaluru will perform a veena recital as the first performance on November 22 at 5:15 p.m. On November 23 at 5 p.m., Visakhapatnam's Ramya Kiranmayi Chaganti will perform a singing concert. At five o'clock on November 24, Hemanth and Herambh of Bengaluru will perform a flute duet.
On November 25 at 3 p.m., Anirudh Subramanian from Chennai will perform a voice performance. At 5 p.m. on the same day, Suchitra Holla of Puttur will perform vocals once again.A singing concert by Palghat R. Ramprasad is scheduled on November 26 at 10 a.m. At 2 p.m. later, Ashweeja Udupa of Kinnigoli will perform vocals once again. At the valedictory on Sunday, Kunchinadka musician Shakunthala K Bhat will receive recognition. The valedictory will also feature a number of prizes.
Ashweeja Udupa is going to receive the Sulochana R. Ballal Best Young Artist Award, according to an announcement from the parishath, which is commemorating its 30th anniversary. Supreetha Dharmasthala and Krishnapura Venkat Rao will get the T.R. Krishnan Young Talent Award, while Srivarda Pattaje and Suvasini Hegde will receive the Aroor Brothers Charitable Trust Award. Thanmayi Uppangala will receive the Leelavathi Young Talent Award.
The performances will begin at 4:45 p.m. with an introduction by Swami Jithakamananda, president of Ramakrishna Mutt in Mangaluru, according to the statement.
