Team Mangalore will host the two-day ONGC-MRPL International Kite Festival-2025 at Tannirbavi beach in Mangaluru on January 18, which will include 24 international competitors.
Slovenia, the United Kingdom, Germany, Estonia, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore, Sweden, Indonesia, and Greece will be among the nations represented. Additionally, elite Indian teams from Dhanu (Maharashtra), Kerala, Telangana, Odisha, Rajkot, Mumbai, Baroda, and Ahmedabad will compete.
The fiery Tulunadu rooster Uriye has been selected as this year's festival emblem to represent the bravery, vitality, and cultural pride that are hallmarks of Tulunadu. According to a statement from Team Mangalore, a non-profit organization, the mascot, which was created by Proto Concepts, embodies the spirit of the celebration with its vibrant feathers and aspirational attitude, signifying the delight of flight and the reconnection with cultural roots.
