Malai Mandir

Pilgrimage Sites/

The Uttara Swami Malai Mandir, commonly called Malai Mandir, is a Hindu temple devoted to Lord Swaminatha. A large number of devotees, primarily from the Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, and Malayalam-speaking populations in Delhi, frequent the temple. The Malai Mandir, which is built completely of granite stone in the South Indian architectural style, is perched on a tiny hill. Reminiscing about the Chola era architecture while visiting the site allows visitors to experience history firsthand. In addition to visiting the primary Malai Mandir Temple, one may also pay a visit to the adjacent complex honouring Lord Murugan's father, mother, and elder brother.
