Mahabodhi Buddha Vihara is part of the Maha Bodhi Society, Bangalore, serving the community since 1956 CE. Founded by Venerable Acharya Buddharakkhita, the Vihara aims to revive, preserve, and propagate the Buddha's teachings. Consecrated by His Holiness the Dalai Lama in 2003 CE, it is run by a Bhikkhu Sangha offering spiritual guidance and humanitarian services.
