Since 1951, the themed flower exhibitions—previously called the summer and winter shows—have been held to commemorate significant occasions and national holidays like Republic and Independence Day.One of Bangalore's most well-known botanical gardens is Lalbagh. A wide variety of plants and animals can be found in this garden. The Myna, Common Egret, Parakeets, and Pond Heron are among the many bird species that may be found here. Other attractions that add to the Lalbagh Botanical Garden's appeal include a lake, an aquarium, and a glass house where the flower exhibition is held. Lalbagh claims to have the largest collection of tropical plants in India.
