EventIf you have a future or ardent reader in your family, set this weekend's literary event - Kolkata Children’s Literature Festival a priority. The festival intends to encourage youngsters to read. Workshops, games, and sessions with writers, artists, and performance storytellers will take place. The programmes are divided into age groups ranging from three to twelve years old and above, and they include author encounters, storytelling sessions, and mime acts. For the youngsters, there will also be thrilling rewards.
The event, aligning with the birth anniversary of swami Vivekananda, echoes his values and vision of nurturing young minds through reading and creativity.
Over the course of two jam-packed days on January 13 and 14, notable speakers like Devdutt Pattnaik, Abir Chatterjee, Sudeshna Roy, Soha Ali Khan, and Abhijit Guha will be in attendance for thought-provoking and entertaining sessions. The Jain Futuristic Academy in New Town will host the event, which was launched on January 12 by NKDA chairman Debashis Sen.
