The Keesaragutta Temple in Keesara Village, Medchal-Malkajgiri district, is a Hindu temple devoted to Lord Shiva and his spouse, Parvati. Situated on a tiny hillside, the distance from ECIL is 12 km and from centre of Hyderabad is around 30 miles. the temple witnesses several lakh people during the Maha Shivaratri festival during the Hindu month of Kartika.
'Thalachuvanru' is the reading of an ancient Telugu inscription discovered atop one of the rock-cut caves around the temple. It is the earliest known Telugu inscription in the state of Telangana, dating to the fifth century CE.
