Sri Kalikambal Temple is located in the centre of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, close to George Town, on Thambu Chetty Street, which is a commercial district honouring Lord Sri Kamadeswara and Sri Kaalikambal.

This historic temple is about three millennia old. Many puras mention the specifics of the God Sri Kamadeswara and the Goddess Kaalikambal.

This temple, which is known as one of the notable temples in South India, was formerly situated in the SeaShore and is now positioned at its current site. This temple draws a large number of followers since it is regarded as one of the most potent shrines. It is said that the renowned poet Bharathiyar, who was a devoted follower of Goddess Kali, worshipped this shrine. This temple is thought to be one of Chennai's most famous and contains several magical abilities.
