Jhandewalan Mandir is an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Maa Aadi Shakti (avatar of Goddess Maa Durga) located on the Jhandewalan Road on the way to Karol Bagh, Delhi. Both local devotees and pilgrims from all over the world attend the temple, which is a well-known and revered sanctuary. A visit to the temple instills sanctity in one due to the sacred atmosphere. The temple's exquisite architecture is enhanced during the Navratri Festival when a special Puja is held, flowers and lights are placed inside, and large throngs of people visit the temple. The name "Jhandewalan" comes from the prayer flags, or "jhanda" in Hindi, that were presented to the shrine during the reign of Shah Jahan.
