The Institution of Agricultural Technologists (IAT) is a non-profit voluntary association of agricultural technologists that was established in 1968. What began as a small forum for discussing ideas related to agricultural development has evolved significantly, now attracting professionals from across the state, the country, and even internationally. The initial concept for the IAT was envisioned by the late Dr. H.R. Arakeri and was subsequently developed into a thriving organization through the dedicated efforts of senior technologists. The IAT serves as a platform with the dual purpose of advancing the professional interests of its members and promoting the overall growth and development of agriculture.
