Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology

Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) was founded by an act of Delhi assembly authorising it to carry out R&D, run educational programmes, and confer degrees. The Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor of Delhi presides over the General Council, which is the Institute's highest body. The Board of Governors is the body that formulates the Institute's policies and makes decisions. The Senate has the authority to decide on all academic matters.

IIIT-Delhi has demonstrated a constant ability to adapt to the changing requirements of society and is rapidly moving towards being one of India's top comprehensive research-led teaching schools.
