The India Energy Week (IEW) 2023 in Bengaluru will be held from February 6-8 and is aimed to showcase the country's rising prowess as an energy transition powerhouse. The event is expected to bring together leaders from the traditional and non-traditional energy industry, governments, and academia to discuss the challenges and opportunities that a responsible energy transition presents, an official release said.
Modi will also flag off the 'Green Mobility Rally', a rally which will witness participation of vehicles running on green energy sources, and it is expected to help create public awareness for green fuels.
HELICOPTER MANUFACTURING HUB:
PM Modi will inaugurate a helicopter manufacturing factory of the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) in Karnataka's Tumakuru. The greenfield helicopter factory, spread across 615 acres of land, has been planned with a vision of becoming a one-stop solution for all helicopter requirements of the country. It is India's largest helicopter manufacturing hub and will initially produce light-utility helicopters (LUHs).
OTHER DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS:
Apart from inaugurating the helicopter manufacturing hub, PM Modi is also set to inaugurate several other programmes.
- PM Modi will lay the foundation stones of Tumakuru Industrial Township and of two Jal Jeevan Mission projects in Tumakuru.
- Launch the E20 fuel as part of the Centre's push for ethanol blending.
- Launch the uniforms produced under the ‘Unbottled’ initiative of Indian Oil. Each uniform will support recycling of around 28 used PET bottles.
PM Modi will dedicate the twin-cooktop model of Indian Oil's indoor solar cooking system- a revolutionary indoor solar cooking solution that works on both solar and auxiliary energy sources simultaneously.
This will be PM Modi's third visit to the poll-bound state in less than a month. He visited Hubballi on January 12 where he inaugurated a national youth festival and staged a massive roadshow. Later on January 19, he was in Yadgiri and Kalaburagi districts.
